I ate here tonight on the outside tables. The limoncelo spritz was nice. The food was ok but not great. I was ignored for quite a while before being brought a menu while staff stood around moving tables and chatting. Several scammy sellers passed trying to sell their rubbish. Keep your bags on your front, on your body or on your knee.

Perfect location right in the heart of the city. Metres away from the Trevi fountain. There is a supermarket a couple of doors up. The street is cobbled and narrow. Restaurant tables all down the one side, shops on the other. This is an extremely busy street with cars struggling to get by the many many people walking by. On arrival we were early but our room was ready for us. We were on the first floor over looking the back of the hotel so no noise at all. The room was small but expected as the building is hundreds of years old. It was exceptionally clean with complimentary tea, coffee and water provided. There was a large bed that dominated the room. There was tea & coffee making facilities and enough storage space. The bathroom again was small but again exceptionally clean. Complimentary soaps etc with a hairdryer on the wall. The shower was small but had hot water with good pressure every time we used it. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed. Breakfast is on the lower ground next to the spa. There was a good selection at breakfast to choose from. Coffee machine, waffle maker & toaster. There was cheese and meat cuts. Different fruits, salad, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage (sorry Brit’s not the type of sausage we eat in England)there was white & brown bread, yoghurt and cereals. More than enough to find something for everyone. We didn’t use the spa but had a look round one morning. It was small with a relaxing area and steam room. The staff here were very friendly, spoke very good English. The Trevi fountain was metres away. The Pantheon was a five minute walk. The Spanish steps was 5-10 minute walk. The Colosseum 15 minutes and the Vatican City was 40 minutes. No need to book taxi’s as the hotel is central to everything. Taxi fare from the hotel to Ciampino airport was €31. Bus from the airport to the central Termini station was €5.80 with a 20 minute walk to the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. If I come back to Rome I would definitely book again.

Uninterested Reception Team

Great location. Clean and includes everything you need . Low rating due to complete lack of interest in service by reception team (well the men I dealt with). Emailed to arrange shuttle. No response and when I called at on arrival at airport I was told to get a cab Called down in the morning. They answered the phone by shouting "yes". Asked for more coffee. None arrived. He told me he had forgotten My single use double room while comfortable was noisy (some sort of generator) and hot.

Stayed in hotel Roma from 20th-24th Nov 2023. Beautiful boutique style hotel. On arrival Peter checked us in. He was friendly & extremely helpful. We stayed in room 204 which was a beautiful 2 bed room with an extra attic bedroom. Room very beautiful & serviced every day. .Breakfast was amazing Great menus with a fantastic choice many options including gluten free,. Great atmosphere in the Hotel. The staff in the hotel are extremely helpful & friendly. Hotel is located in a great location right next to the Trevi fountain & the Spanish steps. Great bars & & restaurants near by. Quite close to the main tourist attractions. CLose to the bus stop Hop/On /Hop /Off Bus which is a fantastic way to travel in Rome. Hotel Roma is a fantastic Hotel which l would rate 10 out of 10. Staff are extremely friendly & professional.

Just spent a few days at this hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Room was nice. Have elevator which is a plus if you have some mobility issues. Just a few minutes walk from Trevi and other interesting places. Lots of places to eat nearby(most tourists traps). Wifi is not the best but works. Did not like much that right in the entrance there were tables from a restaurant which interfered with the entrance door.
